COME TO THE FAIR (Graham Charnock)

Don't know what time this is in; maybe several

    Am-Am/C-Am/G x2
[Am]Will you let your long hair down?
Will you[Em] come to the fair, come to the fair
    And[Am] lie[G] with[Am] me, [G]beneath the[Am] wheel?
    And lie[G]with[Am] me, [G]beneath the[Am] wheel?
    And lie[G] with[Am] me, [G]beneath the[Am] wheel?
    And let the[Em] wheel spin[Am] round? [Am/C-Am/G] [Am/C-Am/G/]

[Am]Will you put your best dress on?
And a[Em]comb in your hair, comb in your hair
Of[Am]fin[G]est [Am] gold, to [G]shine in the [Am] night
Of[Am]fin[G]est [Am] gold, to [G]shine in the [Am] night
Of[Am]fin[G]est [Am] gold, to [G]shine in the [Am] night
    And let the[G]night shine [Am]on! [Am/C-Am/G] x2
[Am]Will you come with me to the ball?
At the[Em] fair tonight, at the fair tonight?
    Will you[Am]dance [G]with [Am]me, on the [G]edge of the [Am]dark?
    Will you[Am]dance [G]with [Am]me, on the [G]edge of the [Am]dark?
    Will you[Am]dance [G]with [Am]me, on the [G]edge of the [Am]dark?
    Until the[Em]darkness [Am] falls [Am/C-Am/G] x2

After much more listening, I've revised 'Come to the Fair.'

The A/C/G/A is the bass line, I think, and not the chord progression. Playing the A Minor with a C bass, then a G bass sounds right. (play an open Am: 012200, then hit C(012230) then G (012203)-Uh those are Left Handed Chord forms by the way

The[G] Major chords are moved up a little, which sounds more correct, too.

      Hello DF.
Would you be able to add the track listings, credits and band member names to the NWF file in the image hive?
I thought that it might be impolite for me to go mucking about in your post. I myself would appreciate the backup info
when viewing that file. If you dont have the time I can do it for you.(with your approval)
      Thanks.

        Hey V.G.

        Go 'head on!

I tried scanning and uploading the inner sleeve of my copy of NWF what has all that info on it, but I can't find it in the Image Hive.

So I guess the file is too big and it wouldn't go or I mucked it up somehow, or maybe it's just LOST. Anyhoo . . .

        Help yo' self

I'll tend to that DF. 90% of the album info for the image hive has to be installed Emmanuel (manually). I'll submit what I know from my copies of NWF and I wish that you would feel free to add anything that I've missed.
Hawkwind's Friends And Relation's lp's also had good versions of Michael Moorcock's Deep Fix music. I will list all the credits.
