  • The Black Blade of the Barbary Coast

I wrote a very short article wrapping in things from the Q&A archvie.

    [link expired]
The cat spread its wings and flew high into the air, hovering to keep pace with them as they moved cautiously toward the city. Then, as they climbed over the rubble of what had once been a gateway and began to make their way through piles of weed-grown masonry, the cat flew to the squat building with the yellow dome upon its roof. It flew twice around the dome and then came back to settle on Jhary's shoulder. - The King of the Swords

By a peculiar, multiversal coincidence, I just read those issues yesterday (having received them as a belated b-day present from an American lady of my acquaintance), so the links you provided were highly useful. I'd start a thread about the colourful fate (ho ho) of the "black blade" in this story, but I'm not sure anyone else would be as interested in the subject as I am. It's lucky Mike isn't here, or I'd be rudely demanding clarification. :)

    Cheers Mr S!
