:) In the the other books erekose is black, like when he meets elric and corum in their books, and hes black in the hawkmoon books. In his own book , hes whitewith black hair . There is no mention of his lion pelt, in his own either and he becomes a statue , meets emizahhad in the city and is shot in the back and diesin the last hawkmoon book, but in his own he takes the black ship to the old life as John Daker, and leaves Emizahhad in the city cos he dosnt want to be a hero in his own book. Is it a diferent man for each story?

Probably. Remember when Corum travelled to Cornwall and saw himself and Jhary as they were in that plane? Not only are there many different incarnations of the Champion Eternal, there are also many different incarnations of many different incarnations, all with the same fate, yet a different outcome.

Re Erekose is Corum, if you remember, he says he has many names, but tells them to call him Erekose as that was the existance in which he was closest to forgetting the burden he alone carries, not that Erekose is his actual name.

Would you recognise yourself from the back of your head? Perspective is everything. Same being seen from different perspectives.
The cat spread its wings and flew high into the air, hovering to keep pace with them as they moved cautiously toward the city. Then, as they climbed over the rubble of what had once been a gateway and began to make their way through piles of weed-grown masonry, the cat flew to the squat building with the yellow dome upon its roof. It flew twice around the dome and then came back to settle on Jhary's shoulder. - The King of the Swords
