And Ayn Rand's 'Fountainhead' of course.

It cracks me up - it's the favourite book of a guy at work - he tries really hard to fit in with the rest of us, he's adapted himself to New Labour, but the closet Right Wing attitudes keep coming out. We are all holding him back from Superiority in our socialistic weakness.

I'm a bit uneasy about putting all the onus on Muslims, though. I think that anyone who tries to rationalise or justify this type of crime needs to look at themselves.
As christ said... well u know..
I have problems with my brother on some of these issues.
Generalizations stemming from my mother and father I presume.
I never listened to them much on political issues.

Well anyway.. Did some research on this "woman" and I find her just a unknowing comedian. The facts she presents amounts to nothing more than generalizing and making dubious assumptions relating to nothing but a figmentive imagination.. Which is hers btw..

Her weird ideas of what a "true american" is. The one thing I would ask her is just 'WHO' decides whether it's 'citizen' (ibid) is a true american or not? What defines and 'American' btw? Conservative or not this women is just plain stupid in her conclusions and is as 'undemocratic' as Hitler ever was. Some conservative males seem to be gawking at her beauty.
Elizabeth Bathory got the same respons from males.
Doesn't make her right or a beautifull as a person..

Well for those who take her seriously there is a 'laugh or cry' situation.

And her view on what to do with the muslim community to get ridd of the extremists. Invasions and forced christianizing didn't work in the past.
They won't work tommorow. Invasions don't work unless you use genocidal methods (subliminally) or a ferocious displacement of the targeted population group. Talk about ignoring history and old 'undemocratic' methods. "Fight fire with nukes" is what she's promoting.

I vote for helping those muslim groups who want to deinstitutionalize or ungroup these extremists and freely instruct younger muslims about what they want the world to look like. I think the ball is mostly in their court to turn around the inflamed situation.

She reminds me of our old manager, commonly known as "the ice maiden". Those legs were part of her armoury, and she did actually manage to sexually intimidate certain (male) members of the staff team with what amounted to an impersonation of Kenny Everett's "It's all in the best posssssssssssssible taste" routine.*

I'm proud to say it never worked on me, but I could name at least one pervert who has never recovered!

I once had a mate who had a thing about Margaret Thatcher as well, can you believe the depths of human depravity... :x

Ironic in so many ways. They probably also want the state to erect memorials to Reagan and Thatcher (good use of public money) while cutting public assistance (waste of public money and enabler of all things bad in society) :?

Conservatives often accuse progressives of tilting at windmills because of support of symbolic causes. Such causes seem to be unimportant until they are symbolic of something like Smith. I could rant about the selective iconography of conservatism, but I'll hold it in check. The list certainly gives a great deal of insight into what is not sacred.

Also- Thanks for that list, mordenkainen! Awesome links!

She is kinda pretty, but you can imagine being out on a date and getting bad service in a restaurant, prompting her to storm in to the kitchen and convert everyone to Christianity... because apparently that fixes everything!
    That'd be her.

More like, you'd wake up the next morning in the Hilton Hotel, Presidential Suite, to find yourself in the bath, surrounded by melting ice cubes, with your kidneys missing and your wallet emptied.

And, the suite would be on your tab. 8O
