    I dunno, Etranger.

I'd like to add When the Saints Go Marching In to the song list!

How about Marilyn Manson "Fight Song" ??

Oh crap! I can see that a weekly sing along will probably end up in argument also!!!

    Fight Song

    Nothing suffocates you more than
the passion of everyday human events
and isolation is the oxygen mask
you make your children breath in to survive

and I'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist
and I'm not a slave to a world that doesn't give a shit

Hey, wasn't it Jambalaya and something with fishpie on the Bayou?

And "Milord" was a song by Edith Piaf, that's for sure.

Yeah. I don't read all the threads on the website.

Furthermore, what would I say? "Please don't tell my visitors to fuck off?" Then what? Would someone then tell me they aren't my visitors? Isn't it possible I didn't respond because I thought it was flamebait? You should consider keeping yourself outta people's faces too. The best you can do is parrot Bill.

I ignored the post, because I saw it as flamebait, but Bill responded to it.

Then there's the use of "anti progressive," which is basically just a way to bash people you disagree with without actually making an argument. In short it's an effort to incorporate name calling into the language. It may slip under the radar, but it's still name calling, every bit as bad as people go around calling socialists "commies."
When you engage in a intelligent debate over an issue, you may not convince the other guy of anything, but that's ok, because debate forces you to reevaluate your own positions and think about why you hold the view you do, and ideally you wind up better for it. In that sense, Bill's leaving is going to be loss for the board, as he's a far better debater than I am.
