    Republican Jane Corwin's website (parody)

After four decades in Republican hands, a Congressional seat in New York State fell to the Democratic candidate Kathy Hochul, who defeated Republican Jane Corwin. I know nothing else about the race but was alerted to this wonderful parody of Corwin's site that somebody put up. Really, you don't need to know (or care) about the race to find this funny. Wonderful stuff:

Supposedly her undoing was her support for Ryan's Medicare plan. Seems the seniors don't want anyone screwing around with their healthcare, not that I can blame them. What I do find interesting is that if you look at the tapes of the rallies against Obama's original healthcare plans with the single payer option a large part of those crowds screaming about "socialism" had a lot of grey on top. Looks like a severe case of " I got mine but screw the rest of you people".

Actually, from what I have been reading it was her "pro-choice" stance which was her undoing. Buffalo, NY is a very "right to life" area and on top of what Wolfshead stated, she had no chance.

I wouldn't have voted for her either.
