A Red Letter Day, and no mistake!

Well - the first photo of a giant squid in the wild, a new Kate Bush record and I'm meeting Langdon Jones!

Sorry, just had to share those with you!

That's so weird. I just got a photo of Langdon Jones in the wild, a new Giant Squid record, and I'm meeting Kate Bush later! What are the odds?

This is truly your dead letter ray, led detter ray, red detter lay -- perhaps it is an occasion of note!

The image of Perdix as fan-boy as he pesters Kate Bush for a new story and Langdon Jones to sign his album is striking. No telling what he'll want from the Giant Squid!

I would imagine squids use a complex form of semaphore involving eight or more flags. You'd have to grow more arms, no, tentacles, no wait... *consults P-X* ...no, it's arms.

So are the posters in this thread.
The cat spread its wings and flew high into the air, hovering to keep pace with them as they moved cautiously toward the city. Then, as they climbed over the rubble of what had once been a gateway and began to make their way through piles of weed-grown masonry, the cat flew to the squat building with the yellow dome upon its roof. It flew twice around the dome and then came back to settle on Jhary's shoulder. - The King of the Swords

The whole of the MM readership is a "lost" generation.

Or at least that's what Gertrude Stein would have said.
