    The "Things That Have Been Over Done" Haiku Thread

    Dear posters:
    5-7-5
    No lectures about the acutal form, if you please. Just read and/or post. Also, try not to point out that a post hasn't hit the 5-7-5 format. Such nitpicking is very boring.

    upon the shirts of our kids
    suspend the Pepsis
    The cat spread its wings and flew high into the air, hovering to keep pace with them as they moved cautiously toward the city. Then, as they climbed over the rubble of what had once been a gateway and began to make their way through piles of weed-grown masonry, the cat flew to the squat building with the yellow dome upon its roof. It flew twice around the dome and then came back to settle on Jhary's shoulder. - The King of the Swords

    And also no diatribes recounting conflicting opinions on whether 5-7-5 is the 'proper' English-language haiku structure. The structure of 5-7-5 has been set.

          With Cool Britannia makes me
          Want to emigrate
