The first episode for the second season of Rome was excellent!

It is really a great show!

It is really cool how everything in the story comes together nicely.

Sunday looks to be another really cool episode!

Kevin McKidd who plays Lucius Vorenus really has the best role! imho

2nd season? remind me someone, have we seen the second series in the UK yet?

I thought the series was superb. I really enjoyed it and made a point of watching every episode (and some of the repeats as well!).

Did the Beeb make it or is it a joint venture with another country?

No second series in the Uk yet. Looking forward to it though.

Agreed - it was most excellent.

It's an HBO production afaik, which the BBC partially helped fund.
_"For an eternity Allard was alone in an icy limbo where all the colours were bright and sharp and comfortless.
_For another eternity Allard swam through seas without end, all green and cool and deep, where distorted creatures drifted, sometimes attacking him.
_And then, at last, he had reached the real world – the world he had created, where he was God and could create or destroy whatever he wished.
_He was supremely powerful. He told planets to destroy themselves, and they did. He created suns. Beautiful women flocked to be his. Of all men, he was the mightiest. Of all gods, he was the greatest."

HBO? Didn't they make 'Band of Brothers'?

I'll be looking out for Rome! Thanks David! If the story, acting and feel of the second series comes close to the first, it'll be classic, imo.

          i like it.

its very heavy though, but not sick making

the ways they make to assasinate people is ingenious.

last nights episode made you think atia would shoot servilia just to shut her up.

          the sex scenes are grusome.

ray stevenson /pullo is huge. ive never seen anyone like him.
