    I like Enemy Within, but haven't bothered listening to most of their stuff.

    If I want that sound, I stick with In Flames and Dark Tranquillity.

    It is to consider that one of the guitar player, Michael Amott, used to belong to Carcass... I don't mind if a musician is inventive or not as long as the music is efficient. All we need is ROOOOOOCK!

    Alot of female "Cookie Monster" singers right now.

    Well it's all a matter of taste as usual. I don't see this as Death Metal.
    More like a borrowing of the many styles that saturated the 90's.
    I think bands like Nile, although I'm not really a fan, have taken Death Metal to it's logical conclusion. I wonder if the early one's like Possessed are proud of it?
