A funny thing happened to me on the way to the supermarket...
I heard English voices as I wandered across the bridge and just had to stop and chat! This unassuming elderly couple turned out to be the owners of Rockfield studios in South Wales, the first residential recording studios in the world! They started in the sixties and had a boom in the 70's when Queen went there and recorded A Night at the Opera, including Bohemian Rhapsody.
Looking at their site, I noticed Hawkwind on the list of clients.
Can anyone tell me which albums were recorded there?

Just had a quick look through my LP and CD collection, and I came up with the following as being recorded at Rockfield:
    Doremi Fasol Latido
Warrior on the Edge of Time
    P.X.R. 5:'Death Trap','Jack of Shadows','P.X.R.5'
    Sonic Attack
    Chronicle of the Black Sword
    The Xenon Codex (parts of)
    Space Bandits

All of the CDs don't have album credits, so there could be more . . .
Madness is always the best armor against Reality

Wow, time to dig out my Rush, Sepultura and Fields of the Nephilim CDs to see which ones were recorded there! :)

If Chronicle was recorded there, it implies that MM may have been there, too.

        Thanks, DeepFixer.
I'll try and find out from them if they remember MM...
