    Looks interesting!

Batman: It's a low neighborhood, full of rumpots. They're used to curious sights, which they attribute to alcoholic delusions.

Robin: Gosh, drink is sure a filthy thing, isn't it? I'd rather be dead than unable to trust my own eyes!

Saw this today - stylistically it reminded me a little of Nicholas Roeg's stuff. Very interesting subject matter - and open to a lot of interpretation.

Enjoyed it immensely BTW - the soundtrack is quite subtle and very haunting.

So you would say that this is a good movie? I've been planning on seeing it.

Definitely worth a look - it's getting stinky reviews in Britain, probably because one of the sequences does have a bit of 2001-style pretentiousness, but the love story (and the acting) is very well told. Its not strictly a science fantasy movie - more metaphysical sci-fi, but there are numerous avenues of interpretation. The sort of movie you can get something new out of each time you watch it...
