  • Bad Boy Bubby

Has anyone seen this movie? It's an Australian movie made in 1994 and there are a lot of similarities between this movie and the Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld episode of South Park. Anyway it's a great movie and if you get a chance to watch it you should but I'm not certain how easy it is to get overseas(I live in Australia).

Yep. Great film. My partner once went to a "bad taste" party where someone came as a clingfilmed cat. Actually I thought the film "Shine" was a respectable version of BBB. There's also a US film called "Julian Donkey Boy", in a similar vein - made according the Lars von Trier's "Dogme" formula - all hand held camera work and no backing music. Werner Herzog made a bizarre appearance in it as a gas mask fetishist.
"Bad Boy Bubby" needs to be better known. Barry Norman (British TVs top film reviewer and lover of all things Merchant Ivory) loathed it, so there's a recommendation!
