Dear reader,

Many people have given their valuable time to create a website for the pleasure of posing questions to Michael Moorcock, meeting people from around the world, and mining the site for information. Please follow one of the links above to learn more about the site.

Further to a private (and I must stress, entirely amicable and polite)
discussion with Berry Sizemore, no further postings about A Million
Spheres will be made here at Multiverse.Org by myself or the rest of
the editorial team. As a free fan project we will be proceeding but
given the issues between Michael Moorcock and Chaosium at present, we
have agreed with Berry not to post anything further here.

    Best Wishes,

(Marcus Bone, Charles Green), Nick Middleton

    Hi Berry,

My name is Nick Middleton, one of the three people working on A
Million Spheres, the Eternal Champion gaming fanzine we (well, me
actually) posted an announcement about at Multiverse.org just before
Christmas, with the agreemnet of my co-editors, Marcus Bone and
    Charles Green.

To answer the questions you posted in order:

Do you or anyone on your team have any affiliation with Charlie
    Krank?
I'm not sure I know what you mean by affiliation: we (collectively)
asked Chasoium's permission, as we did Mr Moorcock for his permission.
We only posted publicly about our plans once we had permission from both.

I am an Engineer from England, Marcus Bone is a free lance technical
writer from New Zealand and Charles Green is freelance writer from
America. We are all fans of the RPG's Stormbringer/Elric! and other
Chaosium games (Call of Cthulhu in particular), as well as Michael
Moorcock's fiction. Charles has written material for Chaosium, and I
have contributed (in a very minor fashion) to an upcoming Call of
Ctulhu anniversary project; Marcus as far as I know has not
contributed directly to a Chaoisum publication to date.

None of us are "employees" of Chaosium - we are simply fans of the
role-playing games they have produced based on Michael Moorcocks
    Eternal Champion fiction.

What is your relationship to Chaosium?
We like their games, and felt it was only reasonable to get their
permission as well as Michael Moorcocks. We are aproaching this
project as gamers first, not least because the motivation for
attempting to launch A Million Spheres was to provide support for a
    game and setting we like.

Will Chaosium advertise in your magazine?
They haven't asked, and we weren't planning on carrying adverts per
se, but we will be acknowledging both Michael Moorcock and Chaosium's
permission to produce A Million Spheres.

    Best Wishes,

(Marcus Bone, Charles Green,) Nick Middleton

    Two questions:

When will it be out ?
We are working full steam ahead (well, real world jobs and family committments etc allowing) to get the web site up and a first issue out in the next few months... But since this is an amateur effort and the three of us have other committments we would be foolish to make rash announcements - so we are aiming for our first issue to available for general download in the first quarter of this year.

    Will it contain Elric!/Stormbringer stats/rules?
    Yes.

It was nice of you to take the time to square this effort with Mike. You folks are gentlemen of the first water!
    It seemed essential to us.

We hope to have more detailed news about A Million Spheres, submission guidelines and our first issue, soon.

    Best wishes,

Marcus Bone, Charles Green, Nick Middleton
