  • So what happened to Virtual reality?

I know in the past it died a death due to the technology not being up to the task.
but surely we are at a point where affordable technology is possible for us all.

I'd love to play games using VR glasses, and a vr glove or whatever.

Or am I being too ambitious and the technology isn't there yet?

Well the Nintendo wii is doing a pretty good job of changing the dynamics of game interactivity - though I don't think we've yet moved away from the television to "immersive headgear".
Batman: It's a low neighborhood, full of rumpots. They're used to curious sights, which they attribute to alcoholic delusions.

Robin: Gosh, drink is sure a filthy thing, isn't it? I'd rather be dead than unable to trust my own eyes!

Yeah, it's a step in the right direction.
I'm looking forward to the day when decent headsets are available.
