  • Stan Lee on tv.

    Hello,

Has anyone seen "Who wants to be a Superhero"?

    http://www.whowantstobeasuperhero.tv/

I saw a part of it the other day, I thought it was pretty funny.

It was kinda cool though with Stan Lee on there.

I liked when they upgraded their superhero outfits, haha.

I was within two yards of Stan Lee once. He had made an unannounced appearence at a UK comic convention - so unannounced that most attendees missed it because it was so early - but as I was going in Stan was coming out (surrounded by a gaggle of Marvelite fans) so I was at least able to say that I'd seen 'the Man' in the flesh.

With Stan you really get the sense that 'they don't make them like that anymore'.
_"For an eternity Allard was alone in an icy limbo where all the colours were bright and sharp and comfortless.
_For another eternity Allard swam through seas without end, all green and cool and deep, where distorted creatures drifted, sometimes attacking him.
_And then, at last, he had reached the real world – the world he had created, where he was God and could create or destroy whatever he wished.
_He was supremely powerful. He told planets to destroy themselves, and they did. He created suns. Beautiful women flocked to be his. Of all men, he was the mightiest. Of all gods, he was the greatest."

      Yep! Here,here!

I am also glad he is the type of guy who enjoys talking about his career and life.

Very cool(also), how he was willing to Volunteer for duty in WWII.

(when he could have just stayed with the comics)

He ended up doing war manuals etc., but he did not know that was where he would serve.
