I had an odd revelation after I finished M. John Harrison's The Course of the Heart. All of the cover blurbs were from writers I would consider among my very favorites: Jonathan Carroll, Graham Joyce, China Mieville, Iain Banks, and Clive Barker. The jacket also mentioned his work with "Michael Moorcock's New Worlds magazine.
