Hi Mike and friends!
Well.. I finished Brave New World yesterday. It was an astonishing read and quite a literary piece to think about afterwards.
I don't know if A. Huxley was saying he preferred liberalism over socialism or any other political branch? What do you guys think?
I got the impression that he was after our mental ability to think for ourselves and not fall into a trap of just "being happy and content, all the time". I got that impression even before i read this book that people fall into a trap of acceptance and not growing as people to understand other people fully.
Or was it just a view on Modernism?
Animal Farm and 1984 are next!..
