  • The Golden Age by John C Wright

Just read this trilogy. In a word, Mindblowing.

OK it's not perfect and he's quite heavy on the libertarian style politics (and that wasn't to at least one reviewer's taste) but he crams more far-out cool sci fi ideas per page than any author I can think of at the moment. Wild!!!

I recommend this author to everybody (if the politics aren't to your flavour, just grin and bear it as i did - it's worth the ride, believe me).

I won't say too much about the storyline because I wouldn't know where top begin (and I'm supposed to be working), but these books deserve to widely read .

Several people have liked these books a lot, so there must be something to them.

They're not my cup of sock-squeezings, frankly. To each his own.

I haven't provided a review of them because I don't like to review books I don't care for.

He has another book out, a fantasy, as I recall. I examined it, too. Still not my thing.

Glad that you like them. It's probably just me.
