  • PM Press: Six titles in the works

PM Press has just contracted to publish Mike's four PYAT novels (Byzantium Endures, The Laughter of Carthage, Jerusalem Commands and The Vengeance of Rome) in new trade paperback editions. This will be the first time the quartet has appeared in the U.S. in a complete, unexpurgated, uncensored form. Pub dates (tentative) begin in the fall of 2011.
Also included in the deal are a new edition of Breakfast in the Ruins and a nonfiction collection.
More information on these (as well as Modem Times 2.0) will be posted here and on PM's site:

    http://pmpress.org/content/

Since this was on a different thread ("Patrick Woodroofe") and may have been overlooked, I'm quoting Mike (from 11-27-10 8:31 AM) here:

"This cult of the personality will be extended on various PM titles due out over the next year or so -- Modem Times has me on a camel. London Peculiar will be me in close-up and the Pyat books will have me in different hats posing as the old Pole himself. Lucky for me that's she's a good photographer."

London Peculiar and Other Nonfiction is the nonfiction collection mentioned above.

    September LOCUS

In addition to this PM Press announcement, there apparently is
something else (about Steampunk) in the upcoming issue, written by Mike...

You see, it's... it's no good, Montag. We've all got to be alike. The only way to be happy is for everyone to be made equal.
