I apologize for replying so late but I didn't realize that you had replied back to this!
I was hoping you would like this picture of Elric, unfortunately, I have outlined it and coloured it, it looks much better but I don't have a picture yet...
I will post it soon though! They're all true... Especially the lies.

Originally posted by Jackalope View PostIf this has been covered before, I apologize. Related to fan art, what about fan fiction? I've had an idea ever since reading "Tales of the White Wolf". I'm also wondering if a follow-up to that anthology is in the works.
By the way, that image has been redone, so it looks alot better now that I've outlined and coloured it. I need to take an after shot of it.
I think that a fanfiction thread would be perfect! Lovely idea indeed! They're all true... Especially the lies.

2. Tales of the White Wolf was followed by Pawn of Chaos, a similar anthology but one which featured other incarnations of the EC other than just Elric. However, Mike's said that he's not interested in doing any more 'shared universe' style anthologies, where other writers play around with his characters, like the White Wolf ones. Mike's also written somewhere here - (sorry I don't have the reference for you) - that he's not interested in farming out 'sequels' to his books by other writers. At least not until after he's dead.
1. Mike has previously responded to the question of (not-or-profit) fan fiction in this thread:

Generally, I tend to make agreements, these days, so that the material can't be passed off (as with Chaosium's unauthorised story lines).
Welcome to the Multiverse._"For an eternity Allard was alone in an icy limbo where all the colours were bright and sharp and comfortless.
_For another eternity Allard swam through seas without end, all green and cool and deep, where distorted creatures drifted, sometimes attacking him.
_And then, at last, he had reached the real world – the world he had created, where he was God and could create or destroy whatever he wished.
_He was supremely powerful. He told planets to destroy themselves, and they did. He created suns. Beautiful women flocked to be his. Of all men, he was the mightiest. Of all gods, he was the greatest."
