  • Elric Magic Card

I can't remember if this was brought to light. I know we talked about it, but I can't remember if anyone found the card, so here it is again.

It's a joke card put out by a magazine, not Wizards.

The cat spread its wings and flew high into the air, hovering to keep pace with them as they moved cautiously toward the city. Then, as they climbed over the rubble of what had once been a gateway and began to make their way through piles of weed-grown masonry, the cat flew to the squat building with the yellow dome upon its roof. It flew twice around the dome and then came back to settle on Jhary's shoulder. - The King of the Swords

I have another magic card called "Runesword" which is a life-stealing artifact. Wonder where they got the idea for that? :)

Heh. Added it to the Image Gallery some time ago. 8) It's here:

Hmmm, your image seems to be better than the one we currently have...

Oh, and there's another one as well:

        Ah, yes...

        [broken link]

        Card reads:

"...attacking creature gets +2/+0 until end of turn. Any creature damaged by that creature cannot regenerate this turn; if such a creature receives lethal damage this turn, remove it from the game..."

So... user of the Runesword gains attacking strength, the sword stops any regeneration as well as removes a creature from the game entirely if it is slain. (Ordinarily, dead creatures would just go to one's graveyard pile and could conceivably re-enter play.) Sounds like Stormbringer (or a close relative) to me. Has the look, as well.
