We previewed the new GM's screen for Elric of Melnibone, the latest setting for RuneQuest II. The core Elric book has just gone to print and wil be in stores last week of this month/first week of next, all going well. We will be supporting the new Eternal Champion range heavily, with Lawrence working almost non-stop on it for the next year (with the occasional diversion into Zhodani territory). Hawkmoon and hopefully Corum will be standing alongside Elric next year.

having been a supporter of mongoose for many years this is great news as I ran out of items to buy from the goose am delighted that elric is geeting another bite of the cherry
and so will defeat the evil moth lords in my wallet for some mongoose goodies just like old times

And there should be some new figures coming out pretty soon. I've just signed with Archival to start with Hawkmoon and Cornelius. Eventually, I'm sure, we'll get to Elric.

time to get the paints out mongoose did a modern army rule set that was pre painted and some other companys do as well but normally the nice figures are the put togeather then paint type please let us know when or if you hear more on the figures or the books

I'm thinking of the Hawkmoon as my RPGer are doing a CoC adventure - The Madness of Ancestors from the Secrets of Kenya supplement. I might have them emerge from the depths into the world of Hawkmoon a la Bastable.

that would be great maybe ending up in londra having to escape always sets the tone and allows any npcs needed to be sprung as well

Seeing MM's stuff in roleplaying again would be great. I am sure that I am not the only one to have read the books and written books myself in terms of putting the "worlds" into existing RPGs like AD&D.

I came across a set of figures in France, made by the same people who do knights, Three Musketeers and others -- the characters in this set had beast masks! Dead ringers for Hawkmoon. Check 'em out if you get the chance. I forget the name of the firm. They are much larger than regular Britain's sizes or OO size used for gaming.
