Sir Christopher Lee 1922-2015

I am very sad that Christopher Lee has passed away.

I wasn't sure I'd type anything about it here because I liked him so much.

Christopher Lee was an incredible actor and artist. He was a wonderful man.
He could keep a secret. He had honor and skill.

Much has been said of his greatness here.

I do have mini-collection of Cushing and Lee films. I also love Christopher Lee in The Man With The Golden Gun. I'm a big Saruman fan & fan of all Christopher Lee performances.

Christopher Lee gave me much enjoyment and enlightenment for many, many, good years. I am always drawn to his powerful roles. I will always remember and respect him.

I am tremendously pleased that he lived in the time that he existed. Christopher Lee certainly made a huge impact on our world. I celebrated hearing of his birthday each year. I will truly miss not having him in new movies here and there. I always enjoyed a Lee appearance. An actor who (to me) was more absorbed into my soul at an early age rather than observed or studied. I was enchanted by Christopher Lee before I learned the reasons why I loved his charisma, look and skill. I guess I'll go pick up his 'Tall, Dark and Gruesome'.

I was playing D&D when one of the players looked up from his smartphone and said "Christopher Lee died"

I have to admit my first comment was, "Someone will pull the stake out and he will rise again"

His take on Saruman was magnificent, that and Bernard Hill's King of Rohan stand head and shoulders above the rest in the LOTR movies for me.

He advised me that while I was in Hollywood I would survive best if I always remembered I was British. He wanted to play Elric but realised he was getting too old so asked if he could play Arioch instead. Now sadly he won't get the chance.
