My teacher informed me that I need to include a bit of information on the educational backgrounds on several of the authors that I've read for years in order to give my college paper more credibility. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any easily accessed information concerning your education, awards, etc.

I think there are various books -- Who's Who, Debrett's, Contemporary Authors and so on -- which do list my awards. I left school at fifteen. I don't think I got any A-levels but I might have got a CSA in English. I
began writing professionally at sixteen. Awards include The August Derleth Award (several times), Nebula Award, World Fantasy Award (two), The Guardian Fiction Prize and short-list with Rushdie and Chatwin
for the Whitbread. I think there are probably others. If you're American, then Contemporary Authors is probably your best bet. If you're English, then Who's Who should do it. All these reference books (as well as the Encyclopedia of SF and the Encyclopedia of Fantasy) give details of my life, awards and background (wives and children etc.)
Google says they have 76,000 references to me and there are more than that, I gather, if you use all search engines! I reckon you should be able to get something out of that! Good luck! :)Pre-order or Buy my latest titles in Europe:
