Moorcock Reference

Caught a Moorcock reference on the series Angel yesterday. I'm sure it was a repeat, so I don't know when it aired originally. Anyway, one of the characters, upon discovering that demons and angels actually exist says "Well, this WOULD be consistent with Moorcock's multiverse..."

Very cool! Anyone else catch it?

Oddly enough, I did. But then I thought I'd misheard him. The one about stopping time ? I wasn't really paying much attention to it. A
late-night rerun, I'm pretty sure. I don't follow the series, especially through that jokey phase it seemed to enter. Then I thought 'Maybe they said Murdoch's multiverse...' ?
I'm not sure what my multiverse had to do with the plot, however, but it was nice of the writer to pop in the reference. The sort of thing I'd try to do for someone else!

Well, my contribution is unlikely to get him into the academic books, but it might get him in to the Radio Times/TV Guide and that's almost the same... er... maybe not.
