Bindweed's Bestseller

I Just managed to get hold of, from ebay, Bindweed's Bestseller from 1982 which states quite clearly on the back that you were one of the contributors. However search as I might I can't actually find what if anything you have actually written. Is there an (dramatic roll of drums) Error? Please please please clear this up for me as I don't think I shall sleep with this weighty problem in my tiny mind!

Yes. I asked the editor that when he was editing me at Secker and Warburg and later Cape. He made some sort of mumbled reply about
how they had hoped to write to me to ask me for a contribution but the letter had gone astray... My own guess is that it was thrown together pretty hastily, with a list of hoped-for contributors published before they actually contacted anyone.

Man's name was David Godwin. He published Mother London and Jerusalem Commands. So I guess he made up for not getting me for Bindweed...
