The Plague has indeed something eternal championish.

...and admit it, the concepts for the characters of Don Quixote and Sancho pansa have been your ideas forever since, and just borrowed by Cervantes during that hideous trip with Taragorms time travel device :D

Few years ago a rock star friend of mine who had been overdoing the substances called me on the phone to say either he was me and I was God or he was God and I was me. Shortly after that he was sent back to his home town by his girlfriend and is now leading a useful life as a bass player there. Yes, I'm still confused.

I'm here because I'm a believer ^_~ If you don't believe, that is your problem.

    Very deep, very zen.

I thought I was Michael Moorcock for about Six months.

What an odd part of my life THAT was.

Luckily, if you check out the Multiverse series, you'll see that all characters and their likenesses belong to me. Which means that even if I'm not the real MM, I have successfully taken over his identity. I also own the name and likeness of Iain Sinclair (Taffy) and various other friends who popped up here and there (including Albert Camus). So what is identity, we ask ? The answer: Whatever is trademarked and copyrighted in a comic book. I bet Jean Paul Sartre never got that far philosophically (oh, he's one of my trademarks and names, too....).
If it weren't for that Jack Karaquazian, I'd never get through the bloody multiverse.

why this thing happens all the time... First was the hawkmoon thing, now moorcock.

If you don't believe, go somewhere else... 'cause we're all here "true believers" as Stan Lee might say.

You have to be careful with those "inner" Michael Moorcocks... sometimes the beard can itch you and cause indigestion.

I think I'll just go back to my old job in Oz. At least I got
    decent amplification in those days.

    Yes you may. :D

Maybe you could be like that unreal leader in the Woody Allen movie Sleeper, with commercials and such, but was only a nose.
