Any News from Michael Foreman?

Mike, Michael Foreman illustrated Letters from Hollywood and I recall your collaboration was excellent. Are there any plans for future joint ventures? Are you in touch?
I met him in Chelsea in 1996 when I researched a certain matter and found he is such a wonderful character. Unfortunately, I have since lost his address, fax etc (pre-Email days !)

We were asked to do a book by Malcolm Edwards when he was at Gollancz. I set the book in Morocco. Mike went to Morocco with his family (who hated the trip) and then Edwards failed to contract for the book, which meant Mike had spent a lot of money for nothing and I was hugely embarrassed. As a result, I've been very reluctant to propose future projects. What's more, Mike hung on to his originals of Hollywood because I insisted the paperback contain his work -- and the editor said it would be too expensive. So in general I would think my name is pretty much mud with Mike and Louise, these days!
You're right E -- he's an extremely nice bloke.
