There's 'passing off' in which an author clearly tries to pass off their work as that of another and there's honest repetition. For instance, The Stealer of Souls is the title of a story by Robert (bugger, name's gone -- King in Yellow author). We all do it by accident.

The Dreaming City by Ben Peek

I've just noticed that the Leviathan 4: Cities anthology from Nightshade Books contains a story called The Dreaming City written by Ben Peek.

    According to the blurb:

....and Ben Peek's "The Dreaming City," in which Mark Twain dreams of an encounter with Cadi"
Does anybody know whether the story has any relation to Elric's The Dreaming City story aside from its name?

Interestingly, Leviathan 4 covers the city theme in fantasy/sf much like the Cities anthology from Gollancz/Four Walls Eight Windows did (which reproduced stories previously published by PS Publishing, including Firing the Cathedral).
