  • Good News from Paris!

They got there safely without problems on Sunday!
Linda, Mike, cats and all! Both sounded very fine on the phone.
Mike asks me to tell you all that he can't connect to the net at present. He'll need a few days to set up and he'll report back when he is ready.

The other thing Mike urged me to announce for him is
Del Rey will do the whole Elric series in six beautiful and illustrated volumes. Publication probably begins next year!

Almost as great news - but still pretty cool.

Now, is that the original Elric series in 6 vols or will it include TDD, TST and TWWS as well, I wonder?
_"For an eternity Allard was alone in an icy limbo where all the colours were bright and sharp and comfortless.
_For another eternity Allard swam through seas without end, all green and cool and deep, where distorted creatures drifted, sometimes attacking him.
_And then, at last, he had reached the real world – the world he had created, where he was God and could create or destroy whatever he wished.
_He was supremely powerful. He told planets to destroy themselves, and they did. He created suns. Beautiful women flocked to be his. Of all men, he was the mightiest. Of all gods, he was the greatest."

Good news on both counts. Thanks L'E.
You see, it's... it's no good, Montag. We've all got to be alike. The only way to be happy is for everyone to be made equal.

Good to hear everyone arrived ok. Great news on the Del Rey deal - if the new editions turn out to be even half as good as the recent Howard Reprints, we're in for a serious treat!

Robin: Gosh, drink is sure a filthy thing, isn't it? I'd rather be dead than unable to trust my own eyes!
