  • Linda's Health

Chances are she'll have to have exploratory/remedial surgery tomorrow.
With luck it will only be a question of the right pills, but we'll no for sure tomorrow. Heart definitely behaving strangely.
She's threatening to rip her IVs out, of course, and drive herself home, but apparently insurance won't cover you if you do! So she's lying there growling softly instead. The food is truly, truly disgusting. The kind prisoners would riot about.
This probably puts plans for Paris back a bit. I'll probably know tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone for good wishes.
    Appreciated, as always.

Damn! Surgeons just love to poke about! Lots of good new remedies for cardiac problems, from medication to pulse regulators of an electromechanical nature. My very best prayers and wishes and hopes!

Are you doing okay, being forced into temporary bachelorhood? Feed thyself, and sneak real food to Linda as soon as it is allowed!

I wish you health for you and yours also.I had to keep an eye on the hygenic practices used in Intensive Care. From experience; the nurses that are good are very good and the ones that are bad cause infections.
          Well Wishes

I wish her well. I pray the treatment works.

Thinking of you both. Hope the news tomorrow is good for all concerned. Take care of each other.
_"For an eternity Allard was alone in an icy limbo where all the colours were bright and sharp and comfortless.
_For another eternity Allard swam through seas without end, all green and cool and deep, where distorted creatures drifted, sometimes attacking him.
_And then, at last, he had reached the real world – the world he had created, where he was God and could create or destroy whatever he wished.
_He was supremely powerful. He told planets to destroy themselves, and they did. He created suns. Beautiful women flocked to be his. Of all men, he was the mightiest. Of all gods, he was the greatest."

Best wishes to the family Mike.

                    Hope it's nothing serious.

All best to you both. Linda sounds the sort who has an indominitable spirit, which I'm sure will see her through. Take care.

You do so MUCH... if half of what goes into your zines is to be believed, you've read more at the age of 17 than I have at the age of 32 - LOTS more'

She's out! Has to go back to cardiologist tomorrow or Tuesday for a non-invasive exploratory procedure which equiment the hospital don't have but which the cardiologist does. If that equipment works, chances are we'll be able to leave on schedule. They say she's very fit and even if she does have a problem, it would be easy to fix because of her good health. So this could prove to be blessing in disguise. That said, I'm a great believer in good will (thoughts/prayers/whatever they're called) and am sure they all helped her as much as they helped me! So thanks, pards!
