It's great to see Mr.Moorcock so responsive on the boards.
I would like to discuss with him or his agent concerning the rights for a video game project. So could you contact me by email [email protected] or let me know who I can contact on this matter ?
I try to reach Mr.Moorcock by his publisher but it could take some months/years before I get an answer and I need to finalize the business plan as soon as possible.

Along the same lines, I have here a 12-page prospectus on a game design based on and inspired by the novel, Stormbringer. I have no corporate affilitation as far as game development is concerned--I just happen to be an Elric fan and a lifelong gamer with aspirations of working on games for a living. Would anyone, especially Mr. Moorcock, care to give it a look? Above all, I'd like to see this idea become a reality.

I believe Sony own the rights to the Elric computer game, and there was some problem about them not relinquishing them until Mike paid they back all the development money they paid after deciding not to publish it.

I didn't have to pay Sony back the money. Their contract was renewed a couple of times but they had trouble getting a platform which would work for the elaborate (and very beautiful) game they'd designed.
There have been others before or since. Now, however, Universal control the game rights to Elric and it is Universal who should be approached regarding any Elric games. Any other games rights are controlled by me through my agent Howard Morhaim in New York.

Any ideas as to what form such a game will take?
Playing through the events of the film?
Or perhaps a side-story dealy where you get to play through some of the other books' plotlines?

How much input do you think you would have on such a project if it came about?

Universal now have control of the game rights. I haven't
any idea what form it would take, though. Can only hope
for the best.
