I was in my local Borders and noticed this towards the end of the 'SF Anthologies' section. Curious as to the weird title, I picked it up and noticed it had quite an impressive collection of contributors. Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, David Langford, China Mieville... and Michael Moorcock.
This is a wonderful purchase, even in hardcover. It is highly informative as well as deeply, deeply silly. How did the editors approach you about writing your part in it? Being encyclopedic in nature, as well as somewhat of a parody, I imagine it wasn't like your typical anthology.
