Mr. Moorcock,
I am formulating a fun research project that will look at terms incorporated into scientific fields that originated in fiction/science fiction. Of course, I immediately jump to "multiverse" and note that you say it was coined in The Sundered Worlds, 1961 I believe. I was just skimming The Entropy Exhibition, where the author notes that you formulated the idea of the multiverse after reading something from J. B. Dunne. Now I have seen you reference J. W. Dunne in this forum. I see from some internet sites that J. W. Dunne posited theories about time and dreams (I haven't read it thoroughly yet), and may be who I am looking for. Anyway, any info for direction you may have regarding the entrance of the term "multiverse" into modern scientific language would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have seen you mention Heinlein as also contributing words/ideas. Any imparticular off the top of your head? Thanks so much,
Paige
Anyone else's input would be great also, as I am sure some of you have poked around in this before.
