Mike, I see on ebay.com there are advanced uncorrected proofs of The Jewel In The Skull for sale, from New York, in paperback, 222 pages, do you receive anything from this as I see the publication date is January 2010 ? I thought about ordering a copy as it might be interesting to see your original story!!

There's no difference. This Jewel in the skull was printed from a disc supplied by John Davey and the version that has already appeared. John checked the disc before it was sent. If the proof costs less than the book, which is in the stores, then it isn't worth getting since it has no special value.
