Welcome to Moorcock's Miscellany

Dear reader,

Many people have given their valuable time to create a website for the pleasure of posing questions to Michael Moorcock, meeting people from around the world, and mining the site for information. Please follow one of the links above to learn more about the site.

  • Hi everyone, just registered.

Been a MM fan since I was 16 (which was a long time ago), when I first read the Elric books.
Pretty much read all of MM's books AFAIK, and loved most of them, especially Elric, although Erekose and Corum are a close 2nd.

Some time later , when I was about 18, I started running the Stormbringer RPG, which is still the most fun game I have ever ran.

    Anyway, hi :)

          Was the process difficult?
Infinite complexity according to simple rules.

              Thanks for the welcome :)
Nice to find a community of like minded people
I have a feeling I'll fit in here just fine.

Funnily enough I reread the Elric series fairly recently, which probably drove me to search for an online community, although I came across this site sort of by accident, I was trying to find an Elric quote and a google search pointed me here.

              The rest is history.

I look forward to discussing the finer points of MMs work and whatever else.
Actaully there's plenty of things I've wanted to discuss about the various books, so you'll be seeing me about quite a bit.

Yes, I live in Wales, specifically Llantwit Major, for those who know anything about Wales.

No, fellahs, Deus Ex Saurion is a person who loves the Welsh language, he isn't from there.

I suspect that Basque and Icelandic are also among the oldest European languages still spoken.
