  • Wow (and hello)

I only found this site yesterday by a weird bit of serendipity - I was sorting out some stuff and found an ebay invoice from Guy Lawley, from whom I bought some Moorcock-related stuff a few months back. I then found some Moorcock comics (the Man-Elf series) that Guy had written and hadn't made the connection till then. I did a search on Guy's name on the web and then up popped a link to this site.

All I can say is wow! This is like a Moorcock reader's ultimate resource and it has input from Mike himself, which makes it even better and more informative.

My real name is Mark and I live in Coventry, UK (mentioned briefly in the English Assassin ). I've been reading Moorcock for over twenty years now and have quite a collection of Moorcock related stuff. I'll be a regular visitor to this site from now on and hope to have a great time.

    Cheers to you all :D

    Hi and welcome!
Serendipity, I like that notion. So often those very accidental discoveries, are the best. Which is certainly the case here.

Thanks. I agree, there are some weird things that go on in life sometimes, meetings, coincidences etc. I'm just glad to have found the site. Better late than never.

Some of the best things I've ever experienced were found through serendipity. Serendipity rocks! :D

              Hi Aral!
You're most welcome to our very international "club". I'm sure you'll find lots of threads that interest you and hopefully you start new ones too for us to pounce on.

Serendipity ... one of the five or six words in English I have to look up again and again. Thanks for throwing a challenge at me this time of the morning.

              Good Day to you!

Nice to meet you too Marc. Thanks everyone for all the greetings. This has quickly become one of my favourite sites on the net, so I tip my hat to Berry and everyone involved and thanks also to MM for being so involved in the site.

                    Hi I'm new here too!

Yes, what a great site & a rather interesting discussion forum too.

 Hey is that Mark from number 83 & you know where?

Been away in Northumberland recently visiting the ancestral rocks. See you soon!

                    Cheers

                        Welcome to the fold, Aral.
May you always fight on the side the wins and may your sword claim many souls (just keep your fingers away from the pointy bits)

                            Welcome back.
The cat spread its wings and flew high into the air, hovering to keep pace with them as they moved cautiously toward the city. Then, as they climbed over the rubble of what had once been a gateway and began to make their way through piles of weed-grown masonry, the cat flew to the squat building with the yellow dome upon its roof. It flew twice around the dome and then came back to settle on Jhary's shoulder. - The King of the Swords
