Mads Mikkelsen as Elric

I've suggested this in other threads... The man was a dancer, can use a broadsword, and is an exceptionally good actor... look at the European stuff, not the Hollywood junk. He has a face that can be easily made to look somewhat inhuman, and has plenty of the kind of presence required.
Having said that, PLEASE, anyone but Jude Law. I like him as an actor, but not for Elric, not in a million years.

I had to look him up on the web. He was good in King Arthur and has a good face for the part. Also, if I remember correctly, he has a good voice for it too.

Mads Mikkelsen is my favorite actor, and I think he would be a great choice! His eyes and his bone structure are perfect, plus he already has experience acting in contact lenses, so the crimson eyes should pose no problem!
I would be ecstatic to see this handsome and incredibly talented actor portraying one of my favorite characters from literature!

He'd be a far better Yyrkoon. I'll admit, he looks very much like a Melnibonean, but for Elric, he seems too... creepy.
