THE FINAL!
It rather goes without saying that we need no draw for the final, being as only two remain. But who will be the quickest on the draw? (Nah, wasn't really worth the set-up, was it...?!)
The Cornelius Quartet
The Final Programme; The English Assassin; A Cure for Cancer; The Condition of Musak
Dancers at the End of Time
An Alien Heat; The Hollow Lands; The End of All Songs

Needle Gun beats Power Ring. (Okay, not a needle gun but you get the point (so to speak) )

_For another eternity Allard swam through seas without end, all green and cool and deep, where distorted creatures drifted, sometimes attacking him.
_And then, at last, he had reached the real world – the world he had created, where he was God and could create or destroy whatever he wished.
_He was supremely powerful. He told planets to destroy themselves, and they did. He created suns. Beautiful women flocked to be his. Of all men, he was the mightiest. Of all gods, he was the greatest."

Alas, they are both JC...
But we all know what you mean!
It's the other one for me: one day HBO will make the Dancers TV series... one day...

As much as I consider Jerry to be my favourite London literary figure, it has to be Dancers for me.

It seems that I will be voting with the minority at this point ... Dancers, but only by a hairs breadth.

I was wavering for a while there but in the end chose The Cornelius Chronicles.
It has Jerry, lashings and lashings of Una and last but not least we meet a certain Mr Pyatnitski!
Really enjoyed this tournament guys.
Well Done!

Of course I love both to bits, but once again I am on the side of the Dancers.

Difficult call
Really, it's a win either way for Jerry/Jherek. However, I'm drawn to the sublime irony of the Dancers at the End of Time.

And after about two-and-a-half years without posting (at the very least), I come back just to vote for the Dancers at the End of Time...

Very pleased with this final as to my mind these two collections are by far the best two in the mix. I'm voting for JC, but I think Dancers will easily win this.

Jerry!
The Dancers is a great work a very enjoyable, often thought provoking stuff. There can be no doubt about it's place in high end fantasy. However, I don't think it can compere to the masterwork that is the J.C tetralogy. This was truly ground-breaking stuff, absolutely nothing like it before or since. Brilliant! no contest.
