A gigantic firework of a Movie from Sweden!!!
Just seen the Swedish movie "Män som hatar kvinnor"which will probably be released as "Men who hate Women". It is based on the first book of late Stieg Larson's "Millenium Trilogy" by the same title (Engl. title was "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo".
Big thrilling, fast, modern detective story that easily leaves Da Vinci Code behind. Great, intensive acting by Michael Nyquist and Noomi Rapace (a sensational discovery... Hollywood cuties take care, there's one to claim future awards ...)
No idea when it is out in the English speaking world, but keep an eye open for it. Whatever Wikipedia writes about a TV series being made of Stieg Larson's books - what I saw was definitely cinema and made for the big screen.
