Not surprising that one of my dream roles as an actor is Rakhir!

As for the rest of the cast, I think that less mainstream "stars" is always a good idea if you want good fantasy. Christopher Eccleston is a great choice as is...(although I hate to admit it because he is mainstream), Jude Law. These are just a couple of actors who will take the role seriously, and this is the main selling point for me. It is not who looks right, but who has the acting chops to "play" the role right and love the challenge.
I always hate the idea of big name actors who know nothing of the role or genre, shrugging their shoulders and taking the part because it will be a paycheque and a lark.

An actor hungry for the role will bring that passion to the screen!

Am i alone in thinking that the Melnibonians should be tall?
I have always had Elric down as being at least 6ft 6in tall, slim but looking wide shouldered (when in his armour).
As such Pete steele (type o negative (band)) would have the right look-though im not saying he could act the part -he`s a musician.
How about Jerry Ryan for one of the female Melnibonian roles (i think she would have made a better Galadriel in the awful LOTR films.
Lady GaGa for one or all of the chaos gods.

I normaly poo-poo any sugestion someone makes for a muso to play a role in Elric, but I must say I like the idea of lady Gaga playing a chaos Lord, seems rather apt.
